Winter events in the Zillertal Arena Königsleiten

Moonlight skiing & dinner
Skiing experience by night

Moonlight Skiing & Dinner combines winter romance with skiing fun: on selected dates from February to April, you can enjoy special descents in the Zillertal Arena under the full moon. The tour usually begins in the late afternoon with a ride up to the Dorfbahn Königsleiten station, a sundowner with DJ music, and a cozy dinner in the mountain restaurant, often at the Gipfeltreffen.

The highlight of the evening is skiing down glittering slopes in the moonlight, an experience you will find at only a few winter events. The event is aimed at experienced skiers and combines atmosphere, enjoyment, and sporting action, perfect for anyone who wants to enrich their winter vacation with a spectacular evening program.

Good Morning Skiing in March

It’s worth getting up early in the Zillertal Arena: Good Morning Skiing in March gives you the rare opportunity to be one of the first on the perfectly groomed slopes. On selected days, the lifts open at 6:55 a.m., even before regular skiing operations begin. In the peaceful morning atmosphere, accompanied by the first sunlight over the mountains, you can enjoy freshly groomed slopes and a particularly long day of skiing.

This exclusive skiing experience is perfect for early risers and connoisseurs who love skiing away from the hustle and bustle and want to experience winter at its best.

Lederhosen Wedeltage
Traditional dress & fun on the slopes

The Lederhosen Wedeltage is a truly iconic event in the Zillertal Arena, celebrated every spring. Fans of traditional dress, ski enthusiasts, and families come from far and wide to enjoy three days of traditional dress, music, and fun on the slopes. Special highlights include the Lederhosen Wedel Party, firn skiing, and live music in the Arena’s mountain huts. The event also takes place around Wald-Königsleiten and is easily accessible for guests of the Sonneck. In addition to sporting action and fun on the slopes, the event shines with traditional program items such as lantern hikes, cooking workshops, and competitions, an experience that perfectly combines alpine culture and winter fun in the midst of the snow-covered mountains.
