Look forward to a small cattle drive, horses, vintage tractors, a traditional costume fashion show, as well as stalls with handicrafts and regional products. Musical entertainment is provided by the Walder music band and you´ll find a great children's programme. Free admission, whatever the weather!

The village square in Wald/Königsleiten hosts a farmers' market and concert.
Farmers' market: Regional products right from the farmers.
Square concert: The Walder Trachtenmusikkapelle will provide musical entertainment on the village square in front of the pavilion, enjoy local drinks.
You can also look forward to occasional performances by the Schuhplattler and a creative children's programme with felt crafts. With your participation you support the local associations.
Experience an easy hike with a yodelling course - an unforgettable holiday memory! After the gondola ride, we start with a ‘Juchizza’ to warm up and learn simple yodelling songs at various stations. A treat for all the senses!

The hike leads from Plattenalm to Gletscherblickalm, offering a magnificent view of the Wildkar and Reichenspitz mountain ranges. Back at Plattenalm, you can enjoy homemade specialties and gain insight into traditional cheese-making in the cheese cellar – including delicious tastings.

Here you can ski at night (on the full moon dates from January to April) in the moonlight. It creates a completely different, romantic atmosphere on the slopes, the dark backdrop of the surrounding mountains seems like from another world. Booking is essential! Discover the special magic of a sundowner with live DJ, aperitif and cosy dinner on the mountain. Minimum age: 15 years
The early skier catches the first turns - you have the opportunity to do so in March, because on some days the piste opens as early as 6:55 am, so you can enjoy the freshly prepared snow and a perfectly long day of skiing.
Spring skiing in the largest ski area in the Zillertal is all about Dirndl & Lederhosen, in the week from 11 to 13 April 2025 you can hit the slopes in Dirndl & Lederhosen! Lots of great Lederhosen Wedel Party Specials and live music are on offer. On Saturday, 12 April 2025, the legendary Lederhosen Wedel Party will take place with live music and a great atmosphere in the huts will take place.
